Meet Mercedes Peña
Founder & Educator | The Cozy Nest Childcare
Mercedes Peña is the founder and educator behind The Cozy Nest Childcare, a childcare concept created from a deeply personal vision: to build a space where children feel safe, loved, supported and encouraged to discover the world around them.
Her approach to entrepreneurship begins long before an idea becomes reality. Mercedes is a visionary, creative and detail-oriented person who first imagines what she wants to build, defines the purpose she wants to communicate, and then transforms that vision into a meaningful experience. For her, every element should have a purpose and contribute to a cohesive story.
This philosophy is reflected throughout The Cozy Nest Childcare. From its name and logo to its colors, symbols and visual identity, every detail was thoughtfully chosen to represent essential values such as love, safety, growth, learning, warmth and dedication.
Mercedes believes that creating a brand is not simply about developing an attractive image, but about building an identity that authentically reflects its values. Her creative process is grounded in three principles: visualize, create and develop. First, she visualizes the idea; then she turns it into a creation; and finally, she develops it with intention until it becomes something she can share with others.
Her vision for The Cozy Nest Childcare goes beyond providing childcare. She hopes to build a brand recognized for professionalism, a welcoming environment, personalized attention and a genuine commitment to each child's development.
